Deck overview

Pizza Face, Gastromancer is a grind-heavy Golgari token deck that wins by swarming with Pests, Insects, and Food, not by commander damage. Pizza Face offers a Food and a repeatable Disappear pump, but the real engine is the hidden commander Grist, the Hunger Tide, which mills, makes Insects, and recurs value from the graveyard. Secondary paths include reanimating or copying large threats with The Cloning of Shredder and finishing with Glacier Godmaw's Landfall-triggered haste. Life-gain synergies from Blech and Moseo turn incidental drains into +1/+1 counters and reanimation. The deck is slow but consistent in a grindy sense, lacking combo speed and stack interaction.
