Deck overview

This deck is a synergistic Golgari aristocrats strategy led by Ygra, Eater of All. Ygra turns every other creature on the battlefield into a Food artifact, unlocking powerful interactions across the 99. Artifact sweepers like Creeping Corrosion and Fade from History become one-sided board wipes that destroy all opposing creatures while feeding dozens of +1/+1 counters into Ygra. Meanwhile, sacrifice outlets and aristocrat payoffs like Mirkwood Bats, Marionette Apprentice, Blood Artist, and Zulaport Cutthroat drain opponents rapidly whenever Foods or creatures enter the graveyard. The deck also includes infinite loops such as Chatterfang, Squirrel General paired with Pitiless Plunderer and synergies with Camellia, the Seedmiser and Experimental Confectioner. Dense low-mana ramp ensures Ygra lands reliably on turn 4, while robust protection spells and card draw engines keep resources flowing to close games quickly through combat or indirect life drain.
