Deck overview

This deck is a Rakdos spellslinger strategy commanded by Kuja, Genome Sorcerer. Kuja generates a 0/1 Wizard creature token at the end step that pings every opponent whenever you cast a noncreature spell. Once four Wizards are in play, Kuja transforms into Trance Kuja, Fate Defied, doubling all Wizard damage to permanents and players. The deck builds a board of Wizard tokens and redundant pingers like Guttersnipe, Coruscation Mage, and Black Waltz No. 3, then chains cheap cantrips, burn spells, and rituals to deal lethal damage to the entire table at once. The deck also includes an infinite creature combo with Dualcaster Mage and Twinflame. Its strengths are high functional redundancy, explosive burn output, and dense creature and artifact interaction. Its main weaknesses are a lack of protection against board wipes and an inability to remove resolved enchantments.
