Deck overview

This deck is a classic Mono-Red Dragon Tribal deck commanded by Lathliss, Dragon Queen. The primary strategy focuses on deploying early mana rocks and cost reducers like Dragonspeaker Shaman and Dragonlord's Servant to cast Lathliss ahead of curve on Turn 4 or 5. Once Lathliss is on the battlefield, casting subsequent high-impact Dragons triggers her ability to create 5/5 flying Dragon tokens, rapidly overwhelming opponents with an evasive aerial army. Synergies like Dragon Tempest, Scourge of Valkas, and Warstorm Surge convert creature entries into immediate burn damage, while Utvara Hellkite and Terror of Mount Velus exponentially scale combat power. Although the deck is susceptible to board wipes and lacks stack-based countermagic, its high density of independent Dragon threats ensures that it can maintain persistent pressure even if the commander is removed.
