Deck overview

This is a Rakdos Treasure-tribal deck helmed by Smaug, Wicked Worm. The commander generates a burst of Treasure tokens on entry based on opponents' artifacts, then converts each spell cast with Treasure mana into card draw. The primary game plan is to amass a massive number of Treasures via creatures like Goldspan Dragon, Ancient Copper Dragon, Grim Hireling, and enchantments like Revel in Riches and Descent into Avernus. It then wins through alternative conditions such as Revel in Riches (10+ Treasures), Hellkite Tyrant (20+ artifacts), or by dumping mana into Torment of Hailfire or Exsanguinate. A secondary plan involves playing cards from exile with Prosper, Tome-Bound and Stolen Strategy to generate additional Treasures and value. The deck can also use Final Fortune for an extra turn to close out games.
