Deck overview

Esper drain-control helmed by Y'shtola, Night's Blessed. Y'shtola turns life loss - your own fetches, shocks, Ancient Tomb, Black Market Connections, and every opponent drain from Kambal, Consul of Allocation, Mai, Scornful Striker, or Sheoldred, the Apocalypse - into end-step card draw, and she punishes the deck's core of 3+ mana noncreature spells with 2 damage to each opponent and 2 life gained. The plan is to grind behind taxes and pillowfort (Ghostly Prison, Propaganda, Blind Obedience, Grand Arbiter Augustin IV) while drawing through the deck, then close with an infinite life-loss/life-gain loop: Exquisite Blood or Bloodthirsty Conqueror plus Sanguine Bond, Vito, Thorn of the Dusk Rose, or Enduring Tenacity. Backup kills are the Bolas's Citadel + Aetherflux Reservoir + Sensei's Divining Top engine and huge Torment of Hailfire / Exsanguinate turns. Y'shtola accelerates and casually seeds the loops; every combo line lives in the 99.
