Deck overview

This deck is an Esper tempo and reanimator strategy led by Kamiz, Obscura Oculus. It leverages combat attacks to loot through the library using the connive mechanic while making key attackers unblockable and granting secondary creatures double strike. The deck rapidly fills the graveyard with high-cost threats like Archon of Cruelty and Archfiend of Ifnir, which are reanimated at a fraction of their mana cost using spells like Reanimate and Necromancy. Kamiz converts these large creatures into devastating unblockable threats that trigger repeated enter-the-battlefield and combat abilities. Additional synergies reward drawing and discarding cards with passive drain and board control through pieces like Syr Konrad, the Grim, Queza, Augur of Agonies, and Archfiend of Ifnir. The game plan steadily strips opponents of resources while dealing heavy unblockable combat damage to close out the game.
