Deck overview

This Esper Equipment deck is commanded by Jin Sakai, Ghost of Tsushima, who transforms massive weapons into rapid eliminations through modal double strike or unblockability while drawing cards on combat damage. The strategy leverages cheap equip-cost reducers such as Sigarda's Aid, Forge Anew, and Puresteel Paladin alongside premier tutors like Stoneforge Mystic and Steelshaper's Gift to cheat heavy armaments like Colossus Hammer and Excalibur, Sword of Eden onto the battlefield. By attacking on Turn 4 with Standoff enabled, Jin Sakai deals 20 or more commander damage in a single combat, eliminating one opponent immediately while replenishing hand size. The deck defends this proactive clock with a dense suite of free and low-cost interaction, including Fierce Guardianship, Flawless Maneuver, and Clever Concealment, alongside turn-silencing effects like Grand Abolisher and Ranger-Captain of Eos. This results in a fast, highly protected combat strategy that dismantles tables in sequential turns.
