Deck overview

This deck is a mono-green kindred swarm deck led by Shroofus Sproutsire. Its central game plan revolves around accelerating into the commander early, increasing its power through cheap combat pump spells or scaling auras, and connecting in combat. Because Shroofus creates green Saproling tokens equal to the combat damage it deals, a single connected attack immediately floods the board with an army of 1/1 creatures. The deck then leverages this wide presence using token-based mana engines like Jaheira, Friend of the Forest and Cryptolith Rite to cast massive table-wide finishers such as Craterhoof Behemoth, Triumph of the Hordes, and Coat of Arms. The deck is protected by a dense suite of 1-mana hexproof and indestructible spells. However, its primary weakness is a near-total absence of reactive removal, making it a pure linear race against opposing combo and faster proactive strategies.
