Deck overview

This deck is an Izzet spellslinger combo list built around Niv-Mizzet, Parun. Its game plan focuses on churning through the library with low-mana cantrips like Ponder, Preordain, and Consider to assemble the commander alongside a Curiosity-style aura (Curiosity, Ophidian Eye, or Tandem Lookout). Once the commander is cast on Turn 6, it threatens an uncounterable body that turns every drawn card into direct damage. On Turn 7, attaching an aura initiates a deterministic loop that draws through the deck and burns opponents down, using Scroll Rack to reload the library if needed to defeat all three opponents. The deck features potent countermagic including Force of Will and Flusterstorm, but suffers from considerable tap-land friction and an absence of tutors or permanent-removal spells.
