Deck overview

This Jeskai Hero deck is a counter-growing combat deck built around Captain America, Team Leader. Its primary plan is to cast many Hero creatures each turn: each new Hero gains haste and vigilance, puts a +1/+1 counter on itself and on Captain America, and becomes an immediate attacker. Draw engines like Jarvis, Kindred Discovery, and Reconnaissance Mission turn that Hero parade into card advantage. Secondary lines use Captain Marvel, Apex Avenger and War Machine to convert a wide counter-heavy board into lethal double-strike swings, with Scarlet Witch and West Coast Expansion providing burst card/tempo. Captain America, Team Leader is the engine pump; Captain America, Living Legend is a hidden utility piece enabling mana/untap tricks. No true combo exists; the deck wins by incremental combat.
