Pest the Magic Dragon by MTGTarzan

Format: Commander

Commander: Witherbloom, the Balancer

Bracket: 4

Deck overview

This Golgari token-swarm deck uses cheap creatures and token makers to power Witherbloom, the Balancer's affinity for creatures, which discounts both the commander and your instants and sorceries. The primary plan is to flood the board with Faeries, Saprolings, Insects and Rats, then win with two compact combos or a large Torment of Hailfire. Witherbloom Apprentice acts as a hidden commander, turning Chain of Smog into an infinite drain loop, while Witherbloom plus Sprout Swarm creates infinite tokens that drain with Mirkwood Bats. Secondary paths include combat with Scute Swarm and Springheart Nantuko or draining incremental tokens. Witherbloom accelerates but is not required for the fastest win.
