Deck overview

This deck is a proactive Temur aggro strategy built around Animar, Soul of Elements. It leverages low-cost mana dorks to cast Animar on Turn 3, then quickly chains creature spells to accumulate +1/+1 counters. Each counter reduces the generic mana cost of subsequent creature spells, enabling the deck to cast massive X-cost hydras and high-impact beaters for minimal mana investment. Card draw engines like Danny Pink and Beast Whisperer convert creature casts into sustained hand replenishment. Innate protection from white and black shields Animar from premier removal spells, while dedicated instant-speed protection like Ripples of Potential guards against board wipes. The deck closes games around Turn 7 by granting evasion through Herald of Secret Streams or multiplying damage with Kediss, Emberclaw Familiar, Railway Brawler, and direct-damage fling effects.
