Deck overview

This deck is a mono-black Zombie tribal and aristocrats strategy commanded by Ghoulcaller Gisa. The primary game plan revolves around deploying undercosted, high-power creatures—such as Rotting Regisaur, Plague Belcher, and Ebondeath, Dracolich—and using Gisa's activated ability to sacrifice them into massive armies of 2/2 Zombie tokens. Once a wide token board is established, the deck rapidly amplifies its damage through tribal anthem lords like Undead Warchief and Death Baron, or drains opponents out using aristocrat payoffs like Ayara, First of Locthwain and Plague Belcher. Mana acceleration relies on classic mono-black doublers such as Cabal Coffers and Crypt Ghast, enabling explosive mid-game turns and heavy multi-kicker activations on Tainted Adversary. Card advantage is sustained through engines like Skullclamp, Cryptbreaker, and Midnight Reaper. While vulnerable to mass exile sweepers and lacking stack interaction, the deck presents overwhelming recursive pressure, closing games reliably by Turn 8 through wide combat swings and indirect life drain.
