Witherbloom Pestilence by Fjord

Format: Commander

Commander: Dina, Essence Brewer

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This Golgari aristocrats deck helmed by Dina, Essence Brewer leverages life gain and sacrifice to generate card advantage while draining opponents. The primary game plan involves creating token fodder (Pests, Saprolings, Snakes), sacrificing them for value (draw, mana, life gain, +1/+1 counters), and triggering multiple death trigger drain effects (Blood Artist, Zulaport Cutthroat, Arnyn, Deathbloom Botanist) to grind down three opponents. The commander acts as both a repeatable sac outlet and a card draw engine. The deck lacks infinite combos, relying instead on incremental value and combat finishers like Blossoming Bogbeast and swarms of deathtouch flyers. Graceful recursion (Moseo, Witch of the Moors, Cauldron of Essence) ensures key pieces return after board wipes.
