Deck overview

This is a proactive Boros combat deck led by Mabel, Heir to Cragflame. The core plan is to cast Mabel, Heir to Cragflame, use the created Cragflame to give a Mouse haste, and build a board of Mice and Equipment. Mabel, Heir to Cragflame boosts other Mice, while Bladehold War-Whip, Maul of the Skyclaves, Bruenor Battlehammer, Puresteel Paladin, and Akiri, Fearless Voyager improve damage, equip efficiency, or card flow. The deck can usually become operational around turn 5 and presents a meaningful combat threat around turn 7. Its main limits are modest tutoring, limited protection, reliance on creatures surviving, and the absence of a compact table kill. It can pressure one opponent well, but it must win through several combat steps against three 40-life opponents. Interaction is broad enough for normal games, but not dense or efficient enough to support a competitive control plan.
