Deck overview

This Esper deck focuses on Sphinx kindred synergies led by The Ur-Sphinx. From the command zone, the commander's Eminence ability reduces the casting cost of all Sphinx spells by {1}. The deck accelerates into powerful mid-game engines like Unesh, Criosphinx Sovereign, Consecrated Sphinx, and Defiler of Dreams, generating massive card draw and filling the graveyard. It leverages surveil synergies, reanimation spells such as Patriarch's Bidding and Reanimate, and cost reducers to assemble a dominant flying army. While the deck relies on fair combat damage to close the game over multiple turns, its high card velocity, robust interaction suite, and resilient graveyard recovery make it difficult for opponents to suppress.
