New Untitled Deck by DuskRaider87

Format: Commander

Commander: Grand Arbiter Augustin IV

Bracket: 4

Deck overview

This is a classic Azorius control/prison deck helmed by Grand Arbiter Augustin IV, built to tax every axis of the game. Augustin discounts your white and blue spells while surcharging opponents' spells, and the 99 doubles down with a dense tax suite - Thalia, Heretic Cathar, Aura of Silence, God-Pharaoh's Statue, Spelltithe Enforcer, Lavinia, Azorius Renegade - plus pillowfort in Ghostly Prison, Propaganda, and Sphere of Safety. The deck controls the board with a deep counterspell suite and five board wipes, accrues card advantage through Rhystic Study, Smothering Tithe, The Council of Four, and Mesa Enchantress, and wins primarily through Approach of the Second Sun (cast twice) or a token swarm from Luminarch Ascension, Hallowed Haunting, Elspeth, Storm Slayer, and Talrand, Sky Summoner. It is a slow, grindy inevitability deck that punishes opponents for playing Magic.
