Deck overview

This deck is a synergistic Rakdos Vampire tribal deck commanded by Strefan, Maurer Progenitor. The primary game plan revolves around dealing incremental damage to all opponents during the early turns using low-cost creatures like Creeping Bloodsucker and Voldaren Epicure to fuel Strefan's end-step Blood token creation. Once Strefan enters the battlefield on Turn 4, he turns those Blood tokens into high-impact mana velocity on Turn 5 by cheating massive, indestructible Vampires such as Necropolis Regent, Olivia's Attendants, and Butcher of Malakir directly into combat. The deck leverages tribal synergies, +1/+1 counters, and drain effects like Sanctum Seeker and Malakir Bloodwitch to overwhelm opponents through combat and life loss. Graveyard recursion cards provide solid resilience against board wipes, while Blood tokens offer steady hand filtering to prevent stalled draws.
