Deck overview

This is a Golgari "creature-heavy spells" deck helmed by Witherbloom, the Balancer. The plan is to flood the board with mana dorks and token generators, then use the commander's affinity-for-creatures to cast oversized draw spells and finishers at a fraction of their cost. The commander's static ability discounts every instant and sorcery by the number of creatures you control, turning Collective Unconscious, Shamanic Revelation, and Rishkar's Expertise into nearly free gas and Craterhoof Behemoth into a one-mana overrun. Primary wins are the Craterhoof swing, an Exsanguinate for a huge X, Rise of the Dark Realms reanimation, and the Witherbloom Apprentice + Sprout Swarm infinite drain loop. The deck is a classic ramp-into-big-spells value engine that accelerates hard once the dragon lands.
