Sahir, Visitor in Darkness INFINITE by adadada

Format: Commander

Commander: Sahir, Visitor in Darkness

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This mono-black deck helmed by Sahir, Visitor in Darkness is a life-pay/drain value engine that leverages the commander's eminence trigger to draw cards each turn by taking small amounts of damage or losing life. The primary game plan is to deploy pay-life draw engines (Necropotence, Phyrexian Arena, Black Market Connections) and pinging effects (Pestilence, Copper Tablet) to fuel Sahir's +1/+1 counters and card advantage, then assemble the infinite life-drain loop of Exquisite Blood + Bloodthirsty Conqueror (or Vito, Thorn of the Dusk Rose) to win. Backup wins include Gray Merchant of Asphodel with devotion, Exsanguinate for massive drain, and The Meathook Massacre as a board wipe that also drains. The deck packs strong recursion (Reanimate, Animate Dead, Whip of Erebos, The Soul Stone) and a compact tutor suite (Entomb, Diabolic Intent) to find combo pieces or key answers.
