Thorin Cheap by Doormats

Format: Commander

Commander: Thorin, King of Durin's Folk

Bracket: 2

Deck overview

This is a Boros Dwarf/Equipment deck built around Thorin, King of Durin's Folk as a Treasure engine and artifact-token pump. The main plan is to play Dwarves after Thorin, generate a wide stream of Treasures, then use the largest equipment and free-equip effects to close with commander damage. Magda, Brazen Outlaw is the strongest non-commander engine, turning Treasure into Colossus Hammer or other key artifacts. The secondary plan is a wide Dwarf-token swarm with Fili the Pathfinder and Warchanter Skald. The commander is not a double-faced card, and there is no hidden commander; the deck is built around the single Thorin face.
