Deck overview

The deck uses Kynaios and Tiro of Meletis to turn symmetrical land and card access into a personal resource engine. Rites of Flourishing, Howling Mine, Dictate of Kruphix, Rhystic Study, and related cards increase draw, while Nature's Lore, Three Visits, Cultivate, and Kodama's Reach build the mana needed for expensive spells. Defensive cards such as Ghostly Prison, Propaganda, Heroic Intervention, and counterspells help the deck survive. The main win is Approach of the Second Sun. The first cast normally occurs around turn 8, then Windfall can draw the second copy after it is placed seventh from the top. The second cast can finish around turn 10 if the deck has eight mana and enough hand cards. The plan is powerful when its draw engines survive, but it gives opponents extra resources and has no dedicated tutor for its singleton finisher.
