Deck overview

This deck is a dedicated Grixis Superfriends control build led by Nicol Bolas, the Ravager // Nicol Bolas, the Arisen. Its primary strategy revolves around deploying early 2-mana ramp into mid-game planeswalkers that generate asymmetric resource advantages. The deck leverages oppressive static abilities from Narset, Parter of Veils and Ashiok, Dream Render alongside multi-opponent discard effects to strip opposing hands and lock down library searches. Proliferate engines such as Inexorable Tide, Dreamtide Whale, and Ichormoon Gauntlet rapidly accelerate loyalty counters toward game-ending ultimates, with Deepglow Skate enabling instant game-ending swings. Creature threats are suppressed through efficient board wipes like Toxic Deluge and Crux of Fate. While the deck features overwhelming compounding card advantage and resilience via graveyard recursion, its reliance on sorcery-speed planeswalker deployment leaves it vulnerable to fast wide-combat boards if sweepers or blockers are not established early.
