Deck overview

This deck is a Bant midrange battlecruiser strategy built around Mr. Foxglove. The primary game plan accelerates mana through efficient early dorks and land ramp on Turns 1 through 3, casts Mr. Foxglove on Turn 4, and initiates attacks on Turn 5. The commander's attack trigger provides an adaptable modal engine: it either refills an empty hand by drawing cards up to an opponent's hand size or cheats massive, game-warping creatures directly from hand onto the battlefield. High-impact cheat payoffs include Jin-Gitaxias, Core Augur, Avacyn, Angel of Hope, Consecrated Sphinx, Ghalta, Stampede Tyrant, and Koma, Cosmos Serpent. Combat enablers like Reconnaissance, Whispersilk Cloak, and Finest Hour ensure safe attack triggers and double combat steps, enabling the deck to close games through overwhelming combat damage by Turn 7. A robust suite of protection spells and cheap interaction preserves the board state against opposing sweepers.
