Deck overview

This deck is a Rakdos Stompy deck helmed by Rakdos, Lord of Riots. The core strategy revolves around dealing early damage to opponents using low-cost pingers and burn spells to satisfy Rakdos's casting requirement on turn 4. Once Rakdos is on the battlefield, dealing combat and effect damage drastically reduces the generic mana costs of creature spells. On turn 5, Rakdos attacks to grant a large mana discount, allowing the deck to chain massive Eldrazi and Demon payoffs like Pathrazer of Ulamog and Artisan of Kozilek into play for minimal mana. The deck pressures the table through high-power combat, Annihilator triggers, and damage doublers, closing the game around turn 7. Additionally, the deck contains an alternate two-card infinite combo with Bloodthirsty Conqueror and Enduring Tenacity that drains the entire table upon any life change.
