Deck overview

This Abzan Food/life-gain deck is helmed by the partner pair Frodo, Adventurous Hobbit and Sam, Loyal Attendant. Sam generates a Food token every combat and discounts Food activations by {1}, while Frodo turns the Ring mechanic into card draw once it has tempted twice. The deck's plan is to flood the board with Food tokens, convert them into life and cards, and then weaponize that life through Sanguine Bond, Agent of the Iron Throne, and Mirkwood Bats drain, or through massive token swings from Assemble the Entmoot, Farmer Cotton, and Pippin, Warden of Isengard's haste pump. The ultimate payoff is Bilbo, Birthday Celebrant's 111-life activation, which dumps the entire creature suite onto the battlefield at once. It is a grindy, incremental value engine with no fast combo.
