New Untitled Deck by user8380984

Format: Commander

Commander: Athreos, God of Passage

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Built around 28 Shadowborn Apostles, the deck uses Athreos, God of Passage as a recursion engine: every dead Apostle returns to hand unless an opponent pays 3 life, while Blood Artist, Zulaport Cutthroat, and Syr Konrad convert each death into life loss. The primary kill chains Apostles-preferably under Thrumming Stone-then sacrifices six to put demons like Rune-Scarred Demon and Razaketh, the Foulblooded into play for further tutoring. A secondary, near-deterministic line combines Phyrexian Altar and Remembrance with two drain effects to loop until everyone is dead. Athreos is single-faced and is the recursion engine, not the finisher; Razaketh acts as a hidden-commander-style lieutenant.
