Deck overview

This Sultai list is a self-mill/delve reanimator, not a fast combo deck. Teval, Arbiter of Virtue is the cost-reduction engine: spells you cast get delve, and the life payments feed Vilis, Willowdusk, and The Master of Lake-town. The primary path is to mill yourself with Traumatize/hedron effects, reanimate or flashback with Muldrotha/Lier, then turn a massive board into an Exsanguinate through Selvala/Ouroboroid. The Gitrog Monster is effectively a hidden commander: its Dakmor Salvage pairing provides a compact draw/mill loop. Combat with reanimated flyers and Eldrazi Conscription is the backup. The deck has abundant recursion but only one counterspell, so it wants time to set up.
