Landlord by Mandudeguyhim

Format: Commander

Commander: Ob Nixilis, the Fallen

Bracket: 4

Deck overview

Ob Nixilis, the Fallen is the face and the deck has no double-faced commander; no hidden commander warps the build. The primary plan is to play extra lands every turn so each Landfall trigger drains 3 life and makes the commander huge, while Dread Presence, Retreat to Hagra, Iridescent Vinelasher, and Polluted Bonds add parallel drains. The secondary path is a big-mana finish: Crypt Ghast plus Urborg doubles Swamp output, feeding Exsanguinate, Torment of Hailfire, or Gray Merchant, all amplified by Bloodletter. Equipment like Blackblade Reforged and Swiftfoot Boots protect the commander and give a combat fallback. If the commander is neutralized, Vito, the Planeswalkers, and Ob Nixilis, Unshackled can grind the table, but the deck is noticeably slower.
