Deck overview

This Ghalta, Primal Hunger deck functions as a fast-paced green stompy combo engine. It leverages undercosted, high-power creatures such as Phyrexian Soulgorger, Slumbering Trudge, and Bygone Colossus to deploy Ghalta for just two green mana as early as turn three. Once a massive creature hits the board, power-based draw spells like Greater Good, Momentous Fall, and Life's Legacy convert that power into a massive burst of cards. This velocity digs directly into infinite combos, primarily Food Chain with Eternal Scourge to generate infinite creature mana and cast a lethal Walking Ballista. Secondary lines with Selvala, Heart of the Wilds and untap artifacts like Staff of Domination provide independent backup paths. A strong protection suite featuring Veil of Summer and Allosaurus Shepherd ensures key win attempts resolve through interaction.
