Format: Commander

Commander: Kuroki, Thief of Talents

Bracket: 2

Deck overview

Kuroki, Thief of Talents is a mono-black voltron/equipment deck that turns one evasive commander into a fast commander-damage kill while using theft effects to gain cards and mana. The primary plan is ramp into Kuroki, protect him, and finish with Fireshrieker/Blackblade Reforged or an active Vorpal Sword. Secondary paths are big-mana Swamp synergies (Cabal Coffers, Crypt Ghast, Magus of the Coffers) and a theft package that casts opponents' spells for free. Kuroki's end-step trigger either forces an opponent to give you a free spell or grows him with +1/+1 counters. No hidden commander exists; the deck is built entirely around Kuroki as its equipment host and win condition.
