Deck overview

This deck is a Dimir Spellslinger and Wraith Tribal control strategy helmed by Lord of the Nazgûl. The game plan revolves around leveraging cheap instant-speed interaction, cantrips, and draw engines to trigger the commander, generating an army of 3/3 black Wraith creature tokens with menace. Backed by 9 copies of Nazgûl, the deck compounds +1/+1 counters across all Wraiths whenever the Ring tempts you, rapidly creating massive deathtouch threats. A dense suite of counterspells and protective equipment shields the board from opposing disruption while advancing the token clock. Graveyard recursion cards like Echoing Return provide explosive recovery by returning all fallen Nazgûl to hand simultaneously. The deck closes games through overwhelming evasive combat damage, either by hitting the 9-Wraith threshold to turn all Wraiths into 9/9s or by clearing opposing boards with an overloaded Cyclonic Rift.
