Doom Prevails-Obscura by tufon

Format: Commander

Commander: Doctor Doom, King of Latveria

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This is a Grixis Villain-tribal deck built around Doctor Doom, King of Latveria as a discard/connive engine. The plan is to deploy incremental Villain threats, use connive to filter into lands and gas, and convert every discard into advantage with Moonstone, Harsh Mistress, Containment Construct, and Currency Converter - while the commander turns discarded lands into 2 life lost for each opponent. The primary path to victory is evasive combat pressure from flying, menace, and unblockable Villains, supported by token generation and a burst finish from Shredder, Shadow Master plus Wound Reflection. Secondary angles include playing cards from exile via Loki, the Deceiver, Fallen Shinobi, Thief of Sanity, and Extract Power, plus a Miracle/connive package with Molecule Man and Glorious Purpose to cast spells for free. This is a midrange value deck: flexible and grindy, but not a fast combo deck.
