Deck overview

This Jeskai deck pairs Kratos, Stoic Father and Atreus, Impulsive Son to execute a snowballing counters strategy. Kratos rewards God attacks and deaths with experience counters, distributing large piles of +1/+1 counters each end step. Atreus acts as both a draw engine and a direct damage outlet, scaling directly with the player's experience counters. A supporting cast of Gods, proliferate spells, and token generators like The Locust God and Otharri, Suns' Glory magnifies counter accumulation. The deck ramps cleanly on Turns 1 to 3 using 2-mana artifacts, establishes both commanders by Turn 4, and builds toward overwhelming card advantage and burn by Turn 6. While vulnerable to early spot removal on its commanders, the experience counters stay permanently on the player, ensuring resilient late-game recovery backed by efficient countermagic and indestructible protection effects.
