Deck overview

This deck is a ruthless Rakdos Group Slug and Burn strategy helmed by Obosh, the Preypiercer. Rather than utilizing Obosh as a companion, placing it in the command zone allows the deck to run powerful even-costed damage multipliers like Solphim, Mayhem Dominus, Torbran, Thane of Red Fell, and Fiery Emancipation alongside its odd-costed payload. The primary game plan is to deploy global damage enchantments and punishing stax pieces-such as Spellshock, Zo-Zu the Punisher, and Citadel of Pain-to rapidly deplete life totals. Once the table is softened up, the deck drops Obosh or another multiplier to turn spells like Acidic Soil, Prisoner's Dilemma, and Breath of Malfegor into immediate, game-ending nukes. While the deck excels at massive combat inevitability and non-combat burn, it also features a deterministic infinite combo in Bloodchief Ascension and Mindcrank.
