Deck overview

This deck is a high-synergy 5-color Dragon tribal deck commanded by Tiamat. The core strategy revolves around establishing early mana acceleration through low-cost mana dorks, Dragon-specific cost reducers, and Orbs of Dragonkind while fixing all five colors through a dense fetch-and-shock land base. By Turn 5, the deck casts Tiamat to tutor five distinct, high-impact Dragons tailored to the board state—typically assembling a combination of haste (Karrthus, Tyrant of Jund), token multiplication (Miirym, Sentinel Wyrm), swarm generation (Utvara Hellkite, Ancient Gold Dragon), and direct damage (Dragon Tempest). Turn 6 deploys these threats to create a must-answer aerial board that quickly overwhelms opponents on Turn 7 via massive flying combat damage and direct ETB burn triggers. While vulnerable to early disruption and mass exile sweepers, its dense suite of standalone legendary Dragons ensures robust resilience and high mid-game inevitability.
