Format: Commander

Commander: Chishiro, the Shattered Blade

Bracket: 2

Deck overview

Chishiro, the Shattered Blade heads a Gruul "modified matters" midrange deck. Every Aura or Equipment that enters creates a 2/2 red Spirit with menace, and the end-step trigger turns the whole modified team into a +1/+1 counter snowball. The primary plan is combat: suit up Chishiro, the Shattered Blade or a growing attacker, then multiply attack steps with Akki Battle Squad and Godo, Bandit Warlord. Fireshrieker doubles damage, Blackblade Reforged scales with lands, and Mage Slayer / Unquenchable Fury bypass blockers with direct damage. The deck also builds a wide Spirit army through One with the Kami, Concord with the Kami, and Chishiro's own trigger. There are no infinite combos; the win comes from an overwhelming multi-combat turn with a large modified board.
