Deck overview

This deck is a mono-blue control and tempo build led by Wan Shi Tong, Librarian. The strategy revolves around deploying the commander with flash, capitalizing on opponents searching their libraries to accumulate +1/+1 counters and card draw, and riding an evasive threat to victory. Supported by a suite of countermagic, bounce spells, and combat-damage draw triggers, the deck aims to dictate the pace of the game while keeping its hand full. Because the deck relies on sequential combat damage across multiple turns to eliminate three opponents, it plays a long game oriented around board control and calculated interaction. Win conditions include commander damage backed by evasion lands, overwhelming hand-size scaling with Body of Knowledge, and permanent suppression via Hullbreaker Horror.
