Deck overview

This deck is a high-velocity Izzet storm and combo build commanded by Vivi Ornitier. The primary game plan revolves around enchanting Vivi with Curiosity, Ophidian Eye, or pairing it with Tandem Lookout. Because Vivi deals 1 damage to each opponent whenever you cast a noncreature spell, each cast draws three cards. This massive card advantage easily chains through free mana artifacts, rituals, cantrips, and auxiliary burn engines like Coruscation Mage and Fiery Inscription. Vivi's tap-free {0} mana ability provides a massive mana surge once its power grows, enabling the deck to storm through its entire library and burn the table down in a single turn. The deck is backed by a robust suite of free and efficient countermagic such as Force of Will, Deflecting Swat, and Pact of Negation, alongside the compact backup combo of Niv-Mizzet, Parun and Curiosity.
