Commander: Jodah, the Unifier

Bracket: 4

Deck overview

This is a five-color legendary-tribal value deck built around Jodah, the Unifier. The game plan is to ramp into Jodah, then use his cascade-like trigger to chain legendary spells: every legendary cast from hand exiles cards until a cheaper legendary is found and cast for free. Kellan, the Kid is the chain-enabler that turns those free casts from exile into additional free casts from hand, re-triggering Jodah each time. Legendary "cast" payoffs like Reki, the History of Kamigawa, Shanid, Sleepers' Scourge, and Basim Ibn Ishaq keep the chain fueled with cards. Jodah's +X/+X pump then turns a board of undertuned legends into an army of 7/7s and larger. Wins are combat-based: alpha strikes with haste from Hammer of Purphoros or Akroma's Memorial, extra combat from Najeela, the Blade-Blossom, and the double-strike finisher Akroma's Will. Skithiryx, the Blight Dragon provides an infect alternate win. This is a high-value midrange deck, not a deterministic combo deck.
