Format: Commander

Commander: The Jolly Balloon Man

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

The Jolly Balloon Man leads a Boros aggro-combo engine that creates temporary flying token copies of utility and enter-the-battlefield creatures. The primary game plan uses the commander to copy burn engines like Impact Tremors, Witty Roastmaster, and Molten Gatekeeper, or exponential beaters like Devilish Valet, to eliminate opponents through rapid token generation. The deck can also execute an instant infinite combo by using The Jolly Balloon Man to copy Village Bell-Ringer, which untaps the commander each time to create arbitrarily large token swarms and trigger lethal burn. Secondary lines rely on stealing opposing threats with Molten Primordial or bursting damage using Boros Reckoner and Spitemare.
