Deck overview

This deck is a mono-red aggressive combat and discard strategy led by Jiang Yanggu, Alone. The game plan revolves around leveraging discard outlets, looting spells, and wheels to rapidly accumulate +1/+1 counters whenever a creature attacks alone. By pairing high-power solo attacks with damage doublers like Kediss, Emberclaw Familiar, board-wide burn like Chandra's Ignition, or extra combat steps from Seize the Day and Bloodthirster, the deck can eliminate opponents in quick succession. High card throughput from wheels like Wheel of Fortune ensures a steady flow of gas, while discard payoffs like Inti, Seneschal of the Sun and Currency Converter generate continuous board and mana advantage. Strong equipment and redirection spells protect key threats from opposing interaction, and the deck houses an alternative infinite combat win condition through Aggravated Assault and Neheb, the Eternal.
