Deck overview

This deck is an Izzet spellslinger aggro list commanded by Rootha, Mastering the Moment. The strategy deploys low-cost mana rocks and cost reducers like Goblin Electromancer and Stormcatch Mentor, then casts Rootha to convert instant and sorcery spells into flying, hasty Elemental tokens sized to each spell's printed mana value. Casting high-impact spells such as Big Score, Memory Deluge, and Blasphemous Act triggers Rootha to create immediate offensive threats. Secondary token producers like Talrand, Sky Summoner, Metallurgic Summonings, and Young Pyromancer widen the board, while Guttersnipe and Veyran, Voice of Duality accelerate the damage clock. The deck finishes games through aerial combat damage over three turn rotations, backed by efficient spot removal and countermagic. Lacking stax or infinite combos, it wins through steady, compounding aerial pressure.
