XiahouCman

Format: Commander

Commander: Xiahou Dun, the One-Eyed

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Xiahou Dun, the One-Eyed commands a mono-black discard, sacrifice, and recursion engine. The deck uses spellshapers and discard outlets to leverage madness cards and fuel the graveyard. Xiahou Dun provides targeted recursion from the command zone, allowing you to repeatedly buy back high-impact black spells, board wipes, or combo pieces. The primary path to victory is an infinite death-trigger loop using Xiahou Dun, Pitiless Plunderer, and death-return instants like Feign Death to generate infinite mana and drain opponents with Zulaport Cutthroat. Alternatively, the deck wins through unblockable horsemanship commander damage buffed by Lashwrithe or Vorpal Sword, or massive token generation.
