Commander: Ashling, Rekindled // Ashling, Rimebound

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This deck is an Izzet high-mana value strategy built around the transform loop of Ashling, Rekindled // Ashling, Rimebound. The front face provides repeatable looting, while the back face generates two colored mana each turn restricted to spells with mana value 4 or greater. The game plan is to accelerate with artifacts, use the commander's restricted mana to chain expensive spells, and bury opponents under Eldrazi-class bodies like Desolation Twin, Etali, Primal Storm, and Ulamog's Crusher. Finishing lines are combat-centered: annihilator triggers, Devastating Onslaught token alpha strikes, kicked Rite of Replication copy armies, and the back-face burn of The Emperor of Palamecia // The Lord Master of Hell. This is not a compact combo deck; it is a long-game value deck that tries to make every turn pour out huge spells and huge creatures.
