Fungal Resurrection by jellytronic

Format: Commander

Commander: Ghave, Guru of Spores

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Ghave, Guru of Spores is an Abzan token/counter engine that wins by converting +1/+1 counters into Saprolings and sacrificing them for mana, card draw, and drain. The primary plan is a compact infinite loop involving Chatterfang, Pitiless Plunderer, Warren Soultrader, and a Blood Artist effect; Ghave provides a redundant engine with Doubling Season/Parallel Lives and Ashnod's Altar. Tayam, Luminous Enigma acts as a hidden commander, turning counters into graveyard recursion so low-cost pieces can rebuild after interaction. The deck also has a Mikaeus/undying branch with Devoted Druid and Kitchen Finks. Secondary paths use Mikaeus with Devoted Druid or Kitchen Finks to make infinite mana and death triggers, then close with Zulaport Cutthroat or Bastion of Remembrance. Attacks are only a backup; the normal finish is a sacrifice/drain combo.
