Deck overview

This Selesnya Midrange deck combines Angel and Human tribal synergies with a lifegain engine. Commanded by Sigarda, Font of Blessings, the strategy focuses on developing efficient low-cost Clerics and ramp pieces early, followed by deploying Sigarda to grant wide hexproof protection and card velocity from the top of the library. Life totals scale quickly through cards like Soul Warden, Bishop of Wings, and Righteous Valkyrie, unlocking large stat boosts and token generation from Archangel of Thune, Resplendent Angel, and Angelic Accord. The deck applies steady pressure through evasive flying beatdown and can close games abruptly using Aetherflux Reservoir or Angel of Destiny. While highly resilient to targeted removal thanks to redundant hexproof sources, the list is vulnerable to non-damage board wipes and carries minimal reactive interaction against noncreature combo strategies.
