Commander: Tom Bombadil

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

A five-color Saga engine built around Tom Bombadil, this deck aims to create a self-sustaining chain of enchantments. Early ramp and enchantresses get the engine online, then Tom turns every resolved final chapter into a fresh Saga from the top of the library. Payoffs like Narci, Fable Singer, Historian's Boon, and the many transforming Saga-creatures such as Summon: Kujata, Summon: Bahamut, and The Legend of Kyoshi // Avatar Kyoshi convert chapters into bodies, life swing, and mana. Counter manipulation from Satsuki, the Living Lore, Goldberry, River-Daughter, Clockspinning, and Strionic Resonator lets the deck rush or replay key chapters. The primary win is patient combat plus drain/burn; the deck is not a fast combo deck. Because so much of the 99 is enchantment-typed, the entire strategy rises and falls on the enchantment and graveyard axis.
