Deck overview

This deck is a Dimir Zombie Aristocrats combo list commanded by Wilhelt, the Rotcleaver. The strategy leverages Zombie tribal synergies, sacrifice outlets, death triggers, and graveyard recursion to generate compounding card advantage and assemble game-ending infinite loops. Early turns focus on establishing mana rocks and deploying low-cost utility Zombies such as Cryptbreaker, Jadar, Ghoulcaller of Nephalia, and Carrion Feeder. By Turn 4, Wilhelt enters to convert dying nontoken Zombies into decayed tokens while providing steady card draw. On Turn 5, the deck pivots toward lethal combo execution via several interchangeable routes. The primary lines include Rooftop Storm paired with Acererak the Archlich for infinite dungeon drains, and Gravecrawler combined with Phyrexian Altar and a drain payoff like Blood Artist or Diregraf Captain. While the deck features robust recursion and high combo redundancy, it runs limited stack protection and relies heavily on the graveyard, leaving it vulnerable to timely exile effects.
